Details:

AFSCME bargaining teams from Units D (Health and Family Services) and G (Justice and Public Safety) will have negotiating sessions with the Commonwealth.  These teams, who are made up of AFSCME members who were elected by their co-workers, have been meeting over the course of several sessions to reach agreements with the Commonwealth that will improve our jobs and working conditions.

No increased health care costs for state workers and our families!

The final budget will cut $94 million out of the state employee health care plan.  The Governor vetoed language in the budget that prescribed how these savings will be achieved- by increasing OUR share of the cost- and the decision now rests with the Personnel cabinet.
